NUTS Ylläs Pallas 2020 event will be cancelled in the season 2020.
Next year NUTS Ylläs Pallas 2021 will take place in July 9–10 2021.

Breathe the clean air, go wild in the arctic nature, enjoy the run under the midnight sun and quiet in front of the endless fell landscape. All this together with a great flock of trail running enthusiasts from all around the world. These races will be exceptional and full Lapland experiences in for sure. Which one is your challenge in July 10-11, 2020?


The season’s second challenge in the Ultra Trail Tour Finland series. The only one-way 100-miler (160 kms) in Finland takes you from Hetta to Äkäslompolo. All the mighty fells, arctic forests and the most beautiful trails of the country are gathered to the route, let alone the bright night.

This one puts both your stamina and your mind to a test. If you have prior experiences from longer than marathon distance races, do you dare to try this exceptional and full Lapland experience?

The start will be at 12.00 in Hetta (village) on Friday.


Are you already familiar with shorter ultra distance races? Why not to elevate to the next level?

The 107 km’s race from Pallas to Äkäslompolo shows you the magical arctic landscapes as their best. You get extra power to your performance from – besides the aid stations – the midnight sun and cheers of followers.

The start is at the midnight (24.00) in Pallas on Friday and the finish line is in Äkäslompolo’s event center.


The 58 kilometer’s race along the classic hiking route from Hetta to Pallas takes place in the evening too. Have a look at the endless fell landscape shaped by the latest ice age and enjoy the run under the midnight sun.

The start is at 14 pm in Hetta on Friday. The finish line is at Pallas, from where you will find the finish line services like food. There is a free charter bus connection (no reservation needed) from Pallas to the Äkäslompolo’s event center. Edited 28.6.2019: We have received information, that there won’t be enough water supplies at Pallas district, so that we could keep up showers there. We will transport your change clothes bags to the finish line area and showers will be available in Äkäslompolo’s event centre.


Are you looking for an intense fell adventure? The 37 kms race takes place at day time on Saturday. It’s shorter race than others but the loop takes you to the typical arctic nature of Lapland with its uphills and downhills in the beautiful area of Yllästunturi fell. This race is also included to the Buff Trail Tour Finland, the most popular trail running series which is consisted of the 7 races in a season. The start and the finish are located in immediate closeness of the event centerin, in Äkäslompolo village.
